Drum Castle

More a country house than a castle, despite the tower to the right of the picture. I chose this photograph to show off the blue skies to which we have been treated again today.

The castle was closed today, I saw only one couple as I had a stroll in the park. Maybe I was too early, and it would be busier later in the day. Although visitors to the area, and there seemed to be many in Stonehaven on Saturday, would not go on a day when house is closed.

The day started quite cool, and I found the heating was on when I woke this morning.
