CAMINO PORTUGUES Day 14 Mealhada to Agueda

Agueda is a city with a nice vibe, its bright and friendly and we are staying at a lovely hostel right in the centre.

It's also the site of the Umbrella Sky Project, which began in 2011 and has been replicated around the world. Several of the streets are hung with brightly coloured umbrellas like these in the photo.

In other news, we walked 18 miles today. I felt every step of the way but was so glad to be walking again. The route was mainly on roads today and through a lot of industrial areas but the sun was shining and I felt good. Tired tonight though so no more writing for now :-)
