ROADBLOCK

Our streets date from around 1890.  They were desgned to allow two Victorian horse-drawn carriages to pass each other.  Imagine them now with cars parked down both sides and then add in a big articulated lorry.
When I say 'big', I mean REALY BIG - three axles on the tractor unit and three more on the trailer.

Here it was trying to negotiate a 90 degree junction and, in the process, holding up traffic (all of 3 vehicles) for around 5 minutes.

I must say though that the driver was really skillful and managed it without damaging any of the residents' parked cars.

Well, that's all the excitement for today.

My 'extra' is a wide-angle view of Dysart Harbour to put yesterday's Blip into context (it is down in the bottom-left). Most of the boats can be classified as pleasure / hobby craft.
