Back to Family Visits

We’ll these 2 have been appearing in many blips in the past 2 weeks and after arriving at about 2 am this morning they were game enough to get out and meet with us in Chorlton cum Hardy near Manchester. We had a great time catching up over coffee and a walk round Chorlton then lunch at a Mediterranean restaurant Olive and Thyme. The van keeps photo bombing my photos but I have to say it has been a fundamental part of our ability to get around and see everyone so far while providing us with a refuge to recharge and enjoy some time on our own. We went straight from Chorlton to Altrincham where my sister Nicky now lives after moving from Nottingham 2 years ago - funny how we were both born about 4 miles down the road and she has now returned through her job to live back in the same area. She prepared a lovely meal of Salmon and veggies and we also saw my nephew Daniel, who we had not seen for about 5 years. Ended the evening watching Liverpool beat Norwich in the Carabao Cup, for which Nicky gets a medal as she is a season ticket holder at Man Utd - arch rivals of my team. We also managed to use her washing machine for a load and got back in time to set up the van at our posh ‘adults only’ caravan site and turn in after a full day.
