Two years on

All in all, quite an event free departure and arrival. Though it took us 1.5 hours to check the luggage in and get through security. At the Spanish end it took 10 minutes.
The only drama was as the plane came to touch down, only to abort at the last second. Perhaps a trainee. These staff shortages.
So, here we are. Loungers out. First book open. First plunge in the pool. Later, up to Maria’s as usual for the first night. Everywhere is very quiet. Very very quiet. Casablanca is closed so there’ll be no live music. And Las Vegas too - where I would nip for a sneaky beer and game of televised soccer. I may have to roam.
