Got ya!
Back from holiday and straight into our normal routine. So as usual I took the camera as I wandered the couple of hundred yards from the Lodge to the bins. I generally manage to find something in that short walk to make a blip for the day.
The swallows congregating on the wires in the neighbouring fields caught my eye. The breeding season seems to have been a good one based on the numbers on the wires. Naturally I took some shots tentatively thinking of a "Bird on a wire" title.
I am not good at following flying birds and getting shots, so I had a bit of practice on some of the swallows. Not a good capture I know but for me it is a little mark of success so it just had to be the blip.
