A pleasant surprise.

Because of Covid I was late in getting anything into the greenhouse and ended up with a variety of types from somebody further down the estate.  As they were late in when we left to go on Solace there was no sign of them ripening.

When we got back the first truss of cherry tomatoes was ripening nicely, a couple of the "standard" tomatoes were starting to colour and there was a vague yellowing in the plum tomatoes.  I had thought I might be left making a lot of green tomato chutney, but things look more hopeful now.
