Razorbill #85
An incredibly windy but warm day. We had a nice long walk along the beach at Beadnell which blew the cobwebs away.
Then we stopped off at Seahouses for a little wander around and a bit of bird spotting at the harbour. There were some nice birds around, ringed plovers, curlew, redshank, dunlin, oystercatchers, eiders etc, but there were 3 razorbills swimming and diving quite close to the shore at Beadnell. Since I don't think I'll be seeing them again this year anywhere, it has to be my blip for today. I think this is a juvenile.
Tomorrow we are hoping to get to Lindisfarne if the weather is OK.
