Winter draws on.
I know the date for this blip isn't even in the astronomical Autumn let alone winter. However as I wandered round the garden looking for blips I was struck by the changing of the seasons. The Whitebeam which starts to shed leaves in August has lost half its leaves.
One sign which made me think of the approach of winter is the Holly. Obviously it is linked to Christmas but it was the fact the berries were already ripening. This makes me wonder of they will last to Christmas as the birds are quick to strip any bush or tree we have that produces berries. Like the Tomatoes from yesterday they were green when we departed for our trip on Solace.
