C'est Fantastique

Mixed driving today, with some boring Autoroute but also plenty of cross-country D roads. I had an earworm when driving through the Vineyards of Bordeaux... I shall leave you to guess what it was :-)

We were in the Entre Deux Mers area, so we naturally picked up a bottle to accompany tonight's smoked salmon.

If we didn't need to be home soon we would have continued on down the Autoroute and ended up in Arcachon tonight. The pull was strong but we kept our senses in the end.

One further stop before home. We hope to be in La Rochefoucauld tomorrow night and have even booked a dinner table. The problem is that the Moho aire remains very busy, it's the weekend tomorrow, and we have no idea if we shall be able to find a space to park in. Time will tell.

Actually looking forward to being home now. Could use a hot bath and a good night's sleep.
