Friday: Bargains & Surprises

Raining when we woke up but it soon disappeared.
MrD gave me a lift to the garage but first we had to do some deliveries, which was interesting …
When we arrived at the garage there was a beautiful shiny car waiting for us! Even the wheels have been painted black and it looks as good as new, couldn’t be more pleased :-))
Drove down the A5 to the garden centre - straight for the “Search & Rescue” and chose yellow snapdragons (antirrhinum), mixed violas (some of the flowers have set seed!!) and 2 good sized terracotta pots for £5 … and the Leek seeds! Plants have had a reviving soak in water so may plant them up tomorrow.
Shopping in Lidl, they didn’t have my favourite ground coffee. It was 20°C as I was driving home … scorchio!!
Another surprise in the veggie garden - lots of runner beans, picked a handful which I added to my dinner this evening.
