Twenty-Two Months
Normally held on the second Sunday in July Sea Sunday is the day which many Christian Churches set aside to remember and pray for seafarers and their families and give thanks for their lives and work.
Falmouth held theirs today, delayed due to Covid, the first Civic Parade for twenty-two months and the effects of Covid were all too visible with Mace Bearer now confined to a wheelchair due the effects of the virus.
The parade, smaller than usual, went well and the revamped church service was enjoyable as well, the weather held with just a few spots of rain at the end.
Coffee and a chat about all things RNA with the St Austell Secretary Mark before heading home to walk Paddy and relax.
