Masked

Here it’s standard to wear masks inside offices, during meetings. I had mine on today during a meeting about marine conservation ideas, which we held in Portuguese. It felt strange but I accustomed quickly to not having the mouth movements of others as a language aid.

There was some surprising rain first thing, so the streets were damp and cool all day. I’m into these upright leaves around the sidewalks of Maputo. If anyone knows what plant they belong to, I’d be grateful for the knowledge.
