Tinny

This was as messy as it appears for a Thursday night. Thank goodness for shortened opening hours and a 10pm curfew, which were saving graces. I was invited out for a ‘quick post-work drink’ by a project collaborator and it resulted in multiple beers and tequilas. Side note: the oranges they serve with tequila here in Mozambique are a vast improvement on lemon, and this should be adopted the world over.

After this, quite late on and feeling tipsy, I video-chatted with Berry and Helen in Cambridge. I watched episode 1 of the new series of Great British Bake Off streamed through the screen whilst Helen’s phone was balanced on a plant pot so I could see. Tinny is the best word to describe the experience.
