We have come to Essex to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary in the hotel we stayed in on our wedding night. We should have come in August, but they cancelled due to staffing shortages.

They have upgraded our room and given us some chocolates and wine to compensate.

We have had afternoon tea and now sitting on the balcony overlooking the grounds.

PS- they have filmed Bake Off here for the last two series.
