DAY 16 -GOODBYE CRETE

The image is from yesterday but I thought it deserved its own spot!! It was still windy this morning but at least there were blue skies.
The 2 o’clock flight made for an easy day….well until we got to the car rental place and they wanted to charge us €80 to clean the car as it had sand in the drivers footwell !!!! We drove away and had it all hoovered for €5!!
The airport was heaving but we found a quiet corner in a cafe for an hour and then were nearly first to check in so avoided the crowds.
Good flight back..collected by neighbour who is a cabbie…home by 6.
Within an hour The Rev had cut the lawns front and back!!!
J brought Daisy back and then stayed for dinner …she was very pleased to see us as was he!!
Tired now….our body clocks are 2 hours later…like this hotel though might stay a while.
