Pocklington "White Mill"

Have taken the above while its still there! It is quite difficult to be sure how much of the original mill is left and the men doing the recording have not come back this week so I may have missed the chance to check. The local history group have found out quite a lot which can be found here! The first referance being 1617 owned by the Deanery of York, near the bottom of the page is a 1930 photo, the two low additions gable end on, are the Victorian section we took down last week.
Another cold windy day with power snow flurries all day but with nothing settling. We will join the poor souls tomorrow with no power curtusee of Northern PowerGrid, doing a new conection! May be late commenting depending on how long it takes them!
Take care one and all ;¬}
