Bad to worse

My week has just got worse. Our overnight stay at Newport, ended with Charlii’s car alarm going off because some Hooligan had taken a huge metal pole and smashed her passenger side window! And when I say smashed I mean smashed! The glass was absolutely everywhere, all in the car, and all over the car park! ( see extra)
Things then got worse as the police said we couldn’t drive it ( even if we could clear up enough glass shards) the RAC refused to help as it wasn’t technically a breakdown, Auto-glass can mend it - on Thursday morning!! And the insurance said it was up to Auto-glass and the RAC to sort it out!! Frustration just doesn’t come close.
In the end we had to spend £104 to travel home by train!! And leave the car in Wales with the keys at the travel lodge.
We are now home, the car is en route home …I am going to bed!!!
