Waiting…

This lovely former home has stood derelict for many years.
It stands on some of the most prime real estate in Leeds, a couple of hundred metres away from Elaine’s apartment.
Many of the large houses that neighbour this house have been turned into nursing homes.
It is rumoured this one has just been left to decay by its owner so it can be  awarded planning permission to pull it down and build apartments there.
We walked past there today on what felt like the last weekend of summer.
