A challenge!!

How do you drive this slowly? 

We have been staying at this hotel at Little Horwood for the weekend. (Pic in extras) This is the driveway on the way out. The hotel accommodation is a modern complex extending from the house, very smart and superbly comfortable bed !! 

A good drive home, with fairly quiet roads. The only queues were in the garages where drivers were searching out petrol!!! We didn’t see any with supplies.

We called in to the American Diner, north of Stamford for a snack. We haven’t been there for ages, but it used to be our stopping off point on our travels to visit R when we were living in Essex. I love the foot tapping music .. the Everley Brothers, Little Richard ……etc etc. endless coffee and super thin wraps with oodles of filling. We couldn’t eat it all (we’d had breakfast) so the girl kindly gave us a takeaway box to take it home. 

Finally we called into Downtown to get new jeans for B. I had forgotten what a pain that is!! But we got two pair that fit. Everything is so expensive, probably I’ve just forgotten the price of clothes.
