Family ......

....... MEAL @ The Rev's & KJD's.
We enjoyed a lovely roast chicken meal @ my daughters. After a marathon to get to their house ! The queue was at least 1 and a half miles long for the garage ! There was evidently petrol there, however it seems observed to me to queue like that . There was very little chance to overtake as parked cars and traffic moving freely on the other side of the road the room was restricted. After 25 minutes people were getting fed up and chanced the overtaking procedure and I'm afraid we followed suit. After our meal we had a board game which involved us all fun and laughter was great.at 6pm we thought it was time to make a move. Our way was clear but just couldn't believe the queue on the other side of the road was as long as 2 and half hours earlier?? What on earth are folks doing!! It is now 8.30pm and we're watching the recorded F1.
We had a good Harvest Festival service and there was a lunch afterwards too, tho' I wasn't staying for obvious reasons.
It seems the weather is on the turn next week so do hope you've been able to take advantage of your Sunday?

Thoughtful ...... of the queuing fraternity & pleased I'm not one of them.
