Plemont
Perfect weather for the first part of the Jersey Coast Path, a leisurely 9 miles from Corbière in the south west along St Ouen’s Bay to the stunning Plemont beach which is the blip. A rich harvest of blips today. The extra is Le Pinnacle, a 200 foot outcrop of pink granite with a salting of rock climbers.
The minibus was waiting for us at Plemont so we were unable to fit in a swim. F and I made up for it when we got back, tiptoeing through a wedding party in our bathrobes to the small but gorgeous pool and jacuzzi in the hotel garden.
And for dinner guinea fowl, followed by Nesquik mousse with peanut which was far more delicious than it sounds. I had no idea it was still available.
