Today's harvest from the garden
I'm a bit low on "go"...a bit pathetic for a '47 model but we've had a great day. Posted merino garments and hand knits to little Mr Darcy(16 months) in Currumbin Waters, and the butterfly slippers to daughter # 1 in Whangaparaoa, went on to town so Dr D could pick up his MkI Zephyr from the garage where it has been having "treatment", drove home, indulged in half an hour's stitching before going to "The Bikery" (next to the velodrome at Cambridge) for lunch with old friends. On returning home Dr D did all the lawn edges while I picked the garden harvest , then I got on the mower and did an acre of our lawn . Dr D out there now now doing the other acre and a half.
The Prunus Awanui are looking absolutely magnificent all over the Waikato at present and we saw many wonderful groups and avenues between home at Rukuhia and Cambridge today. Such a joy : ))
