Santander

Not many takers for these sea view tables and chairs today.
Now that Mr P is lurgy free and can mix with others again, we decided to take the bus this morning to our nearest city.
Despite our best efforts we ended up on the slow bus there and back and despite the dodgy forecast turned up in our shorts and sandals! Thankfully even though it remained cloudy, the drizzle eventually stopped. We walked all around Santander (very elegant) and visited the new futuristic Botin Arts Centre (paid for by the owner of Santander Bank). We also had a very tasty and huge 3-course lunch (great value). Mr P is meeting up with a couple of old friends tonight for a beer. Suspect it won’t be a late one as we’re both done in.
