Berry Bonanza .....

Rain last night and all morning. And a lot cooler . Think autumn has arrived.
Got Kev to take the McCormick tractor through to Carnwath where ( hopefully ) they are going to now fit the front loader. It’s been there already but seemingly the brackets didn’t fit and they had to order other ones , about a month ago !
I went through to bring him home then after lunch set about stirring slurry in the slatted shed as it will need spread before the cattle come in in October . Which starts next week ! How did that happen ?
Mrs F was complaining about the smell in the house when she came home as I’d left the back door open !
There seems to be plenty of berries on the hawthorn hedges just now, hope it’s not a sign of a hard winter to come .
