Roofing in Progress

A strange thing happened at the back of our house today. Because the conservatory had a glass roof we called a repair man to see if he could re-roof it with a solid roof instead. Problem was that in summer it was cooking hot and in winter freezing cold.
Not only did the guy turn up at the appointed time but he brought a team of 5 guys with him. They started work at 8.30am. When I shot this photo it was about 1pm and the roof was half way there. By the time I came home this evening the guys were gone and the roof finished. They had even started on the new interior ceiling. Tomorrow one of the guys will return to finish the job and get paid.
Hard to believe I know but there you have it. Tradesmen who cared and did what they promised, taking advantage of the first dry day we have had since the job was booked almost a month ago. Yippeeeeee!
