Holding On To Your Hat! , London

I learnt today that my train company, Southeastern, has lost it's franchise and will be nationalised on the 18th October! Apparently, they "forgot" to hand back a subsidy of £25 million. Of course, the directors of the parent company called, rather hilariously, Go Ahead (as in "and take the piss") probably took a fair few millions out in big fat bonuses even though they must have known there was a big hole in their accounts (or if they didn't they were supremely negligent). Funnily, enough a reason they were not taking the piss, quite literally, was the number of times they couldn't make the bloody toilets work!
Today's shot was taken on my now obligatory shortened lunch hour walk  before having to get back to the purgatory of never ending deadlines. It was very windy (hence the hold on to your hat) and felt properly autumnal for the first time this year.
