Autumn Colours

The Micklemas Daisy is an expected flower at this time of year but it seems that its only my Yucca Plant that waits until the nights draw in and start to get cold before it flowers. This plant has been in the garden since we moved in, 10 years, and I had it in a pot for a dozen years before that so its not a youngster or a willful teenager. I suspect it is set in its ways and I will just have to accept it, and enjoy the flowers that we get

It had nothing a couple of weeks ago and now proudly boasts four separate flower sticks. When the buds open the flowers are beautiful but many don't get that far, usually the cold, wet and frost kills them off.

We have had visitors again and my blipping has been sparse. Today I back blipped a few days, just snaps taken on my phone as we did touristy things. I hope to be back to normal now for a few weeks until people descend on us again
