Cosmos

What a lot of rain we have had today.  I managed to take our grandson out to the nearest playground first thing this morning before the rain started.  He had a good runaround.  Back home we made use of a large cardboard container to use as a slide for his cars which kept him entertained for a large part of the day.

My husband headed out to find some fuel for the car but came back without any.  I think I will have to rearrange my plans for tomorrow and stay local instead.  I popped down to the allotment in the rain to pick some courgettes before they became too large.  One of the Cosmos plants had fallen over in the high winds we have had, so I picked a few to photograph back home.
