24 hours in Venice

Day 3 Italy road trip
We got up and had breakfast at the tent, unfortunately it started raining! We just weren’t ready, but could finish it in the tent. They we packed up a very wet tent! we drove along Gardasee, then drove straight through to Venice, it took a while to wait to park the car, but we were walking through the city to our hotel near St Marks Square, Rosa Salva Hotel.
It was very difficult navigating our way around , we took so many wrong turnings, so it took us at least 3 times more than we thought. After checking in, we got in the queue for the St Marks Basilica, after 1ins we were in. Wow, that was an amazing experience, including the museum, and the view was great from the Loggia over St Marks square. We had a really ordinary nice pasta dinner back near our hotel, then a walk around. It was raining quite heavily at times, but still very nice
