Oxford air needs your care

Heartened to see this by my children’s school.

Things have improved a lot in the year we have been away: the school entrance used to be choked with vehicle fumes as well as horribly dangerous from car drivers jostling to park.

Now we have a ‘school street’ where the road in front of the school is protected for children to walk or cycle, with a few exemptions such as for residents, service vehicles and kids with particular needs.

It is so, so much better - cleaner, safer, happier; every school should be on a school street!
