Vigil

“We want to remember a 32-year-old woman who was killed at the junction of Headley Way with London Road riding a bike.

We will gather at 6pm on Friday 1st October for 30 minutes at that junction. This will be a memorial not a protest and will be quiet and dignified. We will stand on the pavements so as not to block traffic. We will bring torches, candles, flowers, cards as a way of remembering her.

This is not a demonstration or protest and we won’t hold placards. We will think of ways of marking our anger about the death of Jennifer after this memorial event.”
