Big Yellow Taxi…

This morning we made what we think is the last trip to the unit that was Mrs madwill’s studio - to do a final clean up of the sinks/toilets and sweep up outside. We took an electricity meter reading and attempted a water meter reading, but failed miserably with that as I could not shift the cover from the ground - it appeared to be rusted solid. We also called in at the estate office to hand over some certificates (roller door service and electrical inspection) and give them the keys back. So that is it - five years of running a business - sadly brought to end by COVID!

Whilst Mrs madwill was in the office I popped over to photograph this taxi which is parked in a compound nearby…I often used to see it parked up in lay-bys around the Wetherby area - advertising a SUV and 4x4 car business using a vehicle that is neither.

Fitted another sealing strip to the top of the garage door - this will hopefully keep the draughts out  (and the damp air maybe)
