Composting

I put the new compost bin into place today. Prepared the ground below as best I could, added a layer of earth at the bottom, ripped up some old egg cartons and went round and found some general garden weeds, dead plants etc.
Then as I was putting the lid on I noticed the information leaflet taped on the underside. Still, I’d got it roughly about right to start with.
I’m thinking a garden shredder machine might help, especially when I get to cutting back in a few weeks time….
We’re off tomorrow for a few days by the seaside, so with a bit of luck some different views to blip.
