I don’t think it will take any of you long to recognise where we are from these icons!

Yes we are in Liverpool for the night and here on the waterfront is the iconic Liver building and the ‘fab’ four! 
Don’t think the statues were here on our last visit. We’ve stayed in Liverpool three times over the years and each time in the Albert Dock, another icon as far as I’m concerned . Fir more of Albert Dock see Flickr link 7-10-21

There are a few shops and the Tate Liverpool here together with lots of great eateries, the trouble is they are mainly booked up for tonight. We have managed a table at an Italian called Gusto but we won’t starve as after our noodle along the waterfront we returned via Liverpool One, the shopping centre where we have parked the car. We wanted to check out a better way to get back to the car park in the morning and took in John Lewis whilst we were at it. Couldn’t resist a cream tea - as you do!

We've enjoyed a good couple of hours wandering around this afternoon but it is mighty blowy out there!
