Starstruck

I celebrated International Day of the Older Person by entering my 60th year and heading north to Inverness.

We stopped off at Highland Folk Museum on the way and spent an enjoyable couple of hours wandering around. We arrived in Inverness early afternoon and went to Leaky's (a huge second hand bookshop & the museum).

The best, however, was saved for last - Scottish Ballet performing Starstruck at Eden Court Theatre. It was wonderful -sheer  exuberance with 23 dancers on stage. 

I thought I'd got seats in front row of circle but it was the actual front row of the stall - really enjoyed being close to the dancers. There was also a post stage talk which we enjoyed. All in all a grand day and evening out.
