Monarch Butterflies

When I got to Birgit’s today for our porch lunch, it was to find that Vic had 3 Monarchs that had hatched and were ready to be released today.

It was wonderful to sit and eat our lunch and watch the butterflies drying their wings and then tentatively test them out.

As we were winding up and packing away our craft things, the butterflies were fluttering about in the porch so as I was leaving, Vic headed to the porch to release them.

My craft project today was making 20 autumn theme cards that I continued working on once I got home. Still not finished but can finish them tomorrow.
