Whidbey
A wonderful day exploring Whidbey Island, where my grandmother Helen grew up. Her father was a Methodist minister in Oak Harbor. Mom found the newspaper clipping of when this bridge over Deception Pass was dedicated in 1935; Helen and a friend posed by a model of the bridge. I should've photographed the clipping!
Drove the length of the island, from this north end to the south (and much in between), and caught the ferry back. A marvelous last day.
