Greeeeen

This is the pond outside the "pie store," an old-fashioned local gift/cafe place outside the town of Round Hill. It specializes in the pies (whole or by the slice) that now come from a bakery back along the same Rt. 7 in Herndon. Fruit for the pies used to come from the orchard up the hill, but I think that's been lost to housing development. Still, it's a fun country place with a covered wagon out front. I took son D there today after his hard campaign work. He chose coconut cream. I abstained today, but have to recommend the caramel apple walnut.
