Busy

She seemed a happy girl today, although I didn't actually talk to her. She was a bit annoyed that it was too noisy to call me but still had cheerful bits to share. She practiced in the morning and had fun playing a game with her housemate. She messaged to tell me she was really excited to have a slot in the boarders swim session. She was looking forward to her afternoon practice in the music school. She's booked two hours each weekend day, the same two in the same place. When she first went into year 7, apart from compulsory times elsewhere, she was only willing to practice in the boarding house. So choosing weekend practice is a step forward.

It was pouring down most of the day so they weren't able to do many things. She didn't know thankfully, but Nia had been planning to take her out and that couldn't happen because it was so wet.

All in all, I think it was a pretty good rainy Saturday at the boarding house. 

She will be home with me in two weeks time!
