She's like rainbow

Wild weather - windy sunshine one moment followed by truly biblical downpours. We did the circuit major, two attempts before we could actually get out, then waterproofs on (actually not very in my case) and all was well until our return route - it absolutely bucketed down - see extra for a rather futile attempt at sheltering next to a fuchsia hedge!
In other news, the lads have swept the chimney, we've read the papers, I've made apple and date flapjacks and now potatoes are baking in the oven. 

Last night we watched The Revenant, heck.  We were wrecked and the scarf was triple folded. Incredible scenery, astonishing acting and utterly visceral. It might be Forest Gump tonight!
