Wild flowers and weather.

We’ve been travelling vaguely south west for the last 2 weeks. We didn’t see many wildflowers up north. “It’s too late’ said the Silverback.

Shortly after we crossed the Tropic of Capricorn it became more temperate and we went through a two hundred kilometres stretch where wildflower season was clearly right now! The Sparrow took some of her ‘through the window’ shots.

The temperature is now low to mid twenties. That’s officially ‘cool’ for Queenslanders.

We’re camped on a cattle station. Our nearest neighbours are an English couple. The husband is getting around in shorts and no shirt. Despite their British heritage, the folks are wearing jeans and hoodies.
