Still in Intensive care

This is the jolly mosaic that greets you when you arrive on the critical care wards. Rafi had a good night last night. His temperature is back down, and all his other 'numbers' are heading back to normal. We had hoped he'd be off the ventilator by now,but he's being a bit slow to breathe for himself .
The ward was quiet yesterday, only one other little boy in the bed next to Rafi ( who I found out today has an AVM and a bleed just like Rafi). All of a sudden the ward is full of very poorly children and beeping machines and I remember why I hate this environment so much.
So many staff that are involved with Rafi have been to see him in Intensive Care, all concerned about him and hoping he gets back to the ward soon.
