A Real Book Festival

Missing our annual trip ( two years running) to the Edinburgh Book Festival because of Covid and accommodation issues,  A and I decided to give the Carlisle based Borderlines Book Festival our support.  Quite a few events were being held in the Crown & Mitre Hotel so we  booked dinner, B&B in the hotel  and made a weekend of it. 
New authors , new books, exploring Carlisle , listening to entertaining talks .  A wonderful day , making you realise how much you enjoy coming to real events . Zoom sessions are not the same.
