Carlisle

In between Book Festival events and rain showers we explored the historical sights of Carlisle . Geocaching is good for that -  free tourist information. 
The building you can see is the "new" town hall built in 1669 to replace the old 1345 Moot Hall. Its Grade 1 listed. Its no longer the town hall but the tourist information office has taken it over and since 2017 you can get married in it
