Pipes and Valves and Things
I needed to return Basil's new raincoat to Amazon. It was far too small and the velcro straps kept coming undone.
I was amazed to discover that I didn't even need to pack up the item. It was all packed and labelled by the Hermes parcel agent at the newsagents in Shepshed.
On the way into the town, I saw the gas service shed wide open, a couple of engineers in attendance. I've been told that this marks the spot where the gas supply emerges for Shepshed from a pipe from Loughborough. I can't comment on that.
We rushed down the road to Leicester to see William. The heavens opened as we drove along the A50 (see extra.)
I took him to Morrisons for his tea, chicken nuggets with chips and baked beans.
