Red Maple

The old maple tree right in front of my house is one of the the very first trees to start changing.
An overcast day but not raining after an all night downpour. Alas, I forgot to close the window on the driver's side of the car! Oh dear...
I am finishing a cold... first one I have had in many years. Started with a horrible sore throat that I "medically" treated with Kentucky Bourbon. Cauterized down to a minor cough. Only sniffles are left. More rest today and I'll be much better.
