Wood pigeon

We had the pair of wood pigeons and the two collared doves this morning. The Wood Pigeons are much bigger and fatter than the collared doves. It is a pity but none of them are tame and they fly off if they see me approaching. I put on the extra of one of each.
My London granddaughter has asked if ( when I die)  she can have a painting of her Mum on her horse, which my dad painted after they had taken the horses down to the river.. I told her I would be happy for her to have it while I am still alive!! It is my favourite of all his paintings. So we went to the Post Office to buy a box, but they didn't stock the larger boxes so we will have to try next time we are in Inverness.
