In the woods….

on a lovely warm day and , once the cloud lifted turned out to be hot and sunny. Bracken glowed, berries shone and dew glistened. Birds were singing, but otherwise it was very quiet and I was aware of being observed. The Roe doe was motionless and stayed that way as I passed. She was well camouflaged and knew it.
