Cone of Shame

or feeling sorry for myself...

Poor Charlie!  

The vet has been thorough today!  She took xrays and scans under a general anaesthetic of the lump on Charlies chin, did a thorough dental to check the other lumps which turned out to be healing cuts, and whilst there, emptied the adrenal glands?? I'd heard they did that for dogs, but didn't realise they did it for cats too.  Also she had her nails clipped.

So she had quite a doing and is feeling rather cross about wearing the cone and the fact she can't go outside for at least two days :(

I removed the cone so she could eat her biscuits and she wolfed them down, but she hasn't drunk any water or anything else yet...

The good news is that it didn't cost even the lower limit of the estimate to have all this done - yet - but need to wait for the results of the biopsy as the lump was apparently on a 'stalk'...and that could be sometime!

So my evening will be commiserating with her, whilst trying to relax :)
